Taking a quick break from my Ghost Fleet list, I finished up the Cankerworm for my Dark Host army. It came preassembled, which saved a bit of time in assembly, but added extra time in painting. The base it came with is a large mess of gears and rubble, which I did mostly in browns and rusted iron. Dirt fills in the gaps.
The warjack’s “face” is mostly Jack Bone with glowing blue eyes.
Better seen in this image, the warjack is mostly Pig Iron and Cryx Bane Base. The multiple segments make this model take far longer to paint than you would expect with only two colors.
I put in a bit of blighted gold on specific segments, but it’s a bit dulled down after I went too heavy with the armor wash.
